Those who are in a hurry for a business meeting will appreciate that on weekdays breakfast is served from 6:30 a.m., on the other hand, those who like to sleep in can have breakfast as late as 9:30 a.m. You can also have lunch and dinner here.

Something from the history of the Koruna hotel

The history of the Koruna Hotel in Opava dates back to the seventeenth century. At that time, the ‘U Zlaté koruny’ (At the Golden Crown) hotel was located on the site of the current hotel.

The owner at the restaurant was so wonderful and the staff at reception was friendly and spoke excellent English. I loved it all. The clean bathroom. The food at restaurant. The complimentary breakfast in the morning and the beautifully crafted drinks and coffee. I loved it. Nothing negative to say.

Renovated parts of hotel are great and esthetic, comfortable. Bathrooms are spacious. We had a wonderful view on the cathedral and theater. And it is rather quiet because there are electric trolleybuses in the city. Finally the best part – breakfast is one of the best I have ever eaten in hotels. Everything fresh and home made. Fresh black currant jam was wonderful. Definitely next time I am near Opava I will stay in this hotel.
